Meet the fam

Let's try again.  I got it to quit underlining, but now all those words just went blue, hmmm, this blogging is not for cowards!

So, back to my people. The handsome farmer above is my phenomenal husband, Jeff. We celebrated our tenth anniversary last August 22nd, and can truly say that marriage is great!
Besides being a great husband, Jeff is a fantastic dad.  Or "doggy" as Abby calls him. That came from a game they were playing the other day,
He likes soccer and basketball, and is really good with Legos. He's been doing school in Spanish since Kindergarten, so he's nearly as fluent as I am. (which is an ambiguous descriptor) His least favorite thing is when people don't agree with him. And when you're privileged to hear it - you'll notice he's got a great laugh!
Can't you just see the impish grin from here? Titus is 6, and he's our boy that marches to the beat of his own drummer.  If everyone is
doing it, he's quite likely to choose not to. He doesn't go for competition so much, preferring to snuggle in a fort playing with his stuffed animals.  He loves crafts, enjoys legos, and is learning to like the Wii. Titus loves a good joke, and will often hide and make me come find him. He'll say, "Mom, I'm under the bed, but look other places before you find me."  He enjoys music a lot and says he would like to take guitar lessons, so someone let Jeff Brown know that we're coming!
You've already met Abby, or at least heard part of her story. She is 2 1/2. She loves pink, being with her brothers, and chicken nuggets - not necessarily in that order. Abby is relationally oriented, and who she's with is important to her. If she's known you longer than 12 months, you'll be greeted with a flying hug when she sees you. Abby's current favorites are puzzles, reading books together, and playing with the boys. She's truly a joy and a delight!

So, that's my fam. I may introduce you to the extended crew later this week. There are so many people who are important in life, and whose influence makes life richer. Without them kids would have far less positive being spoken into their lives. . . For today I'll close it out with just my immediate family - and wish you a great Wednesday afternoon.
