Last week we went to Build a Bear and had a fantastic time - the kids LOVED it!! This is Josiah with "Black Blazer," complete with uniform, Basketball and shoes.
Here's Abby with "Bear-Bear." Is anyone surprised that every accessory is pink? I stand corrected, her skirt is denim. . .
And Titus with his "Pandaey," who is a fisher-bear on roller skates.
I found it interesting that when the day was done, the bears very closely resembled the personality of their maker. Josiah had a sports bear with everything as it should be - doing things correctly and keeping them in order is important to him. Abby ended up with a pink cowgirl bear with hearts. . . just a loving, joyful, pretty thing!! And Titus has a panda - not your average bear - dressed like a fisherman (with pockets for his stuff), on roller skates. The bear with not a care in the world, doing exactly what pleases him, whether it's practical or not.
These are our bears, and these are my kids - and I love them all!!

Oh these are so fun! Did the kids buy their bears with tokens or was it just a fun thing? And again, amazing to see A's head so straight. Wow. Love it and love you.
ReplyDeleteThe kids bought the bears with tokens - the ones left over from the last time we tried the charts. I made them empty their token containers and start over, so this was the "prize" from their endeavors last year.
