Ah, Titus. Aptly named, rare and strong. We often remark that Titus, "Marches to the beat of his own drummer." Since he was very little he has been happy to entertain himself - sometimes for hours. From books, to truck, legos to crafts, he can sit for a long time and be fully engaged in what he's doing. If I sit down to join him, he will eagerly explain to me what each toy is doing or becoming. He has a worshipful heart, and enjoys praising God. He has a strong artistic streak, and often demonstrates an ability to see things in a sphere that is foreign to me. Sometimes he'll be staring into space and when I ask what he's doing, he'll say, "I'm tracing that with my eyes." He has always been able to make his play-doh, his craft, his drawings or his legos look like what he intends. And, even though he is content alone, he does very well with other kids. He is fun-loving and enjoys working together to get a project done. Tye enjoys the scenery in life, and helps us all look at it with a different perspective. Join me in praying that God's original design in Titus will grow to all the fullness of God in God's timing.
