Then and Now

In honor of my 20th High School reunion this weekend, here are some thoughts on then and now.

Then: My hair was permed curly, curly, curly. Big hair!!
Now: I use a flat iron to get my hair as straight as possible.

Then: My friends called me Jef, with one 'f'.
Now: I'm married to Jeff.

Then: Boys wore parachute pants.
Now: My man wears Carhardts.

Then: I spent over an hour every morning getting ready for school.
Now: I only wash my hair when it's convenient and I can shower and be ready in 10 minutes flat.

Then: I ran 400m in less than 60 seconds.
Now: I can brush my teeth in less than 60 seconds.

Then: I knew how to use a scientific calculator.
Now: I know how to use the tip calculator on my cell phone.

Then: Life was good, with sporadic hard times.
Now: Life is hard, and God is Good.

What have I missed from the late 80's to now? Tell me your then and now stories! :)

  2. awesome!
Then: I feathered my hair, wore parachute pants and a Michael Jackson jacket.
Now: I don't do anything to my hair, wear jeans almost exclusively (unless I'm in shorts) and wear a Red Sox jacket.
