Anniversary

Jeff and I love anniversary time. Since the very first year, we've had a great time celebrating each passing year of marriage. This was year 11 - and it was great to get away for the evening, spend time together, and reflect on 11 great years. In honor of the occasion, here is a list of 11 things I love about Jeff - - some I knew on my wedding day, but many of learned since then - to my infinite delight!

1. Jeff Roth is creatively fun - coming up with little ways to surprise me, or goofy things to make me laugh.

2. He listens to me. I will mention something in August, forget all about it, and unwrap it as a Christmas present.

3. He takes care of me. I love the ways that he's watching out for me, and "covering" me.

4. He's my biggest encourager and fan. When I have opportunities to speak or serve in some way he's the first to say, "Go for it."

5. He's a hard worker and he's good at his job. I had no idea what being a farmer meant when I married one, and I now have a deep respect for his occupation.

6. He's willing to make difficult decisions.

7. He's willing to tell me "No" when that's what's best for us.

8. He's more handsome every year.

9. He's a great dad.

10. He's committed to spiritual development and pours himself out in pursuit of God's presence.

11. I can't imagine anyone loving me any more that Jeff.
