Peace each day - Feb '07 - 5 months

You know that the geneticist asked us to get an MRI done - I assume this is to scan her brain for any abnormalities.  I'm personally feeling quite confident that they will not find anything, but of course that is not a certainty.  We just got scheduled to have the MRI done at Emmanuel's imaging center up at their hospital in Portland.  She will need to be sedated, and for that they prefer to use a pediatric anesthesiologist.

Thank you for your prayers for her and for us.  While scheduling doctor appointments and tests is a time-consuming role, I am not full of anxiety. In fact, I have had a huge amount of peace.  I know that what is, is - and what will be, will be.  God knows, and He loves me, and He loves Abby Joy.  He also is the great healer - nothing is out of His reach.  So, for now, I have a very healthy little girl who is a daily joy in my life.  She is doing all the things that babies do - smiling and cooing and peeing and pooping  :)  - and I rejoice in every day that is "normal".  My heart skips a beat if I allow my mind to wander to the future and to the "what ifs" - but for now I am at peace each day.
