My daughter is brilliant. Yes, she was just crying upstairs because she couldn't get her underwear on the right way, but none-the-less, she is brilliant! I was going to post a picture of her, but I can't get it to upload, I may try once more. Without the picture, this post doesn't have much point. But I was so looking forward to posting that I think I might just do it anyway. Have you ever just rambled into a friend's answering machine until it cut you off and then called back to ramble some more? My friend Gina and I used to do that to each other and we would laugh so hard we would cry when we listened to them. A few months ago I had that rambling feeling when I was leaving her a message, and I almost took off with it when I realized, "No, I don't think her husband would get the humor."

Well, just now, I have that feeling again, and since you can stop reading this at any moment you choose, I don't feel it's too much of an imposition to just keep typing about nothing. I'm sure it's bad form for a serious blogger, but since I'm not so serious, I'll just let you know that the rest of this post will say relatively nothing.

Like the fact that I need to leave to take Titus to school in 16 minutes, and I haven't even showered yet. Or the fact that I spent all day yesterday trying to decide which jobs to do around the house, and got next to nothing done. Had a date with my husband last night, and how lame is it that I made him take me to the Lancaster Mall and walk around? The mall!!! I did, however, buy the nativity set I wanted so that a pregnant Mary and Joseph can leave from our bedroom (Nazareth) on Sunday, and arrive at the fireplace mantle (Bethlehem) on Christmas Eve. And with the set I bought, Mary will magically kneel down and hold baby Jesus on Christmas morning. Pretty slick, huh? I prefer the sets with the baby in the manger, but this will work.

So, I'm down to 17 minutes and still no shower, but it seems like there was one more thing I was going to tell you. Funny, isn't it, when I really had nothing to say at all. Guess that's it for now. I'll try one more time with the picture, so if this post actually has a picture at the top, my point is that Abby wrote that letter A by herself for the first time yesterday. I know, I have two older kids, I shouldn't be so first-time-momish to post pictures of her first letter. . . just call me crazy - my kids do on a weekly basis!! I tell them their most likely right, but I sure do enjoy life being crazy!

Happy day - Jen :)

P.S. I had to fill out a tardy slip for Titus because he was 5 minutes late. Which is bad. But seriously, by the time I finished posting, I showered and got out the door in less than 15 minutes. That's pretty good!
